Susanne Schuster is a freelance dramaturge and cultural manager based in Hamburg and Hildesheim. During her studies of dramaturgy in Leipzig and applied theatre science in Hildesheim she developed a focus on immersive and gaming strategies in performance art.

With her collective OutOfTheBox she explores the edge between theatre, installations and digital culture. Since 2018 Susanne Schuster writes a thesis on „algorithms in performative art“. Also she is co-leader of the Hamburg based Performance Festival Hauptsache Frei, for which she curated the Digital Track, a platform for digital empowerment for creative artists.
