Maj Berns studied Arts, Media and Aesthetic Learning and Educational Science in Bremen and Toulouse. Nowadays she studies Fine Arts and Technology in Berlin.

Besides her studies, she organises projects and workshops in the field of art, feminist technology and forms of creative protest in Europe, South Asia, East Africa and South America.

She lives and works in Berlin.
