What is the Call for Participation
The CfP is a multi-stage process that gives you, our community, a strong voice in the re:publica programme. This is how it works: we call on you to submit proposals for the programme planning of our conference stages. The re:publica programme team undertakes a pre-selection of the submissions. The proposals are then assessed in collaboration with the programme committee. Finally, we curate the selected proposals for our stages at the re:publica.
- Update: Our new deadline for the submissions is 14 January at 11:59 pm (CET).
re:publica 2018 is taking place in the STATION-Berlin in Berlin-Kreuzberg. After its completion in 1913 this former postal freight train station has experienced its share of highs and lows. Once the largest package distribution facility in Germany, it was taken off of the rail network in 1997 and eventually closed down in 2003 following restructuring and rationalisation measures. Two years later, the train station was purchased by PREMIUM Exhibitions GmbH and thoroughly renovated.
Accessibility & Inclusion
As always, accessibility and inclusion are very important to us. The rooms, halls and stages are all wheelchair accessible and we offer tickets at reduced prices. re:publica is an international event, featuring speakers from over 70 countries. It is important to us that all participants feel welcome and are able to make their way around the event.
