Make your habits POP: #eyetoeye

Animals are not ours to eat, wear, use for entertainment, experiment on, or exploit in any way.

The internet has become one of the most important spots for activists to spread this message and educate people. Almost all our campaigns for animal rights and against cruelty to animals start here.

We are therefore especially excited to launch our campaign #eyetoeye at re:publica 2018.

For the first time, you will have the chance to talk to animals eye to eye. Debates about AI and bot technologies have been going on for years, but #eyetoeye will show you how VR and real dialogue work in combination: for the first time, an animal will be able to speak in a language we understand and communicate with people directly.

No matter if you’re a meat eater, vegetarian, or vegan: #eyetoeye will make you go one step further, even if it’s just a small step. We’re looking forward to meeting you!

About

PETA Germany was founded in late 1993 and is an affiliate of PETA US, the world’s biggest animal rights organization with more than 6.5 million supporters.

Our aim is to uncover cruelty to animals, educate the public, and change peoples’ lifestyles to help every animal live a better life.

Our mission: to stop cruelty to animals. We establish animal rights and strengthen compassion towards animals.

Other affiliates are based in Asia, Australia, France, the UK, India, and the Netherlands.

The organization was founded to educate politicians and the public about unacceptable cruelty to animals that continues to exist on a large scale, and to make them understand that animals have the intrinsic right to be treated with respect and dignity. PETA works according to a simple principle: humans do not have the right to exploit, abuse or use animals in any way.

PETA Germany is a registered non-profit organization that does not receive any government funding and works purely donation-based.
