WE ARE SHIFT/ED!

Shift/ed came out of nowhere. We, on the other hand, came from everywhere.

Where to begin? Well, you could start by asking what do 15 students, from 15 different countries, have in common? In this case, it’s our Masters course at HMKW Berlin.

With a passion for journalism bringing us together we managed to unite our skill sets, mindsets and stories into what is now shiftednews.org.

It doesn’t stop there! We then were welcomed by the re:publica team to join forces for this dynamic and influential event as if it were our very own journalistic playground.

Looking back, we couldn’t possibly imagine where this journey would lead, what tales it would tell, and what future it would lead us into — the only thing we now know for sure is: we are Shift/ed!
