Bahar is a strong project manager and experienced strategic planner that takes organic ideas and transforms them into meaningful products and services for the community. She is an American, with deep roots in Nepal. She brings over 15 years of experience working with communities, connecting people and helping others to breakdown ideas into concrete steps for execution with locally-based teams. Bahar immediately was drawn to Nepal Communitere's dynamic Makerspace and has helped build this valuable community space into a Resource Center engaging diverse users to further innovation and strengthen social entrepreneurship in Nepal. Following last year's inaugural Humanitarian Mini MakerFaire, Nepal Communitere will continue to host this international event showcasing how the maker movement is making significant social impact. Aside from innovation, Bahar is inspired by the potential for the Nepali maker movement to strengthen cross-cultural communication, collaboration, build livelihoods and engage more young women into the field of technology and entrepreneurship.
