#rp18 - all you need to know

We can’t wait: Only one day until #rp18 starts! To get you even more excited and make the best of your time at re:publica, here are some important tips:

#rp18 opening hours:

  • Wednesday: 08:30 - 22:00 (hall opening); party area until 01:00 am
  • Thursday: 09:00 - 22:00 (hall opening); party area until 01:00 am 
  • Friday: 09:00 - 20:00 (hall opening); party area until 5:00 am 

You won't be able to join our #rp18? Here are our livestreams from Stage 1 and Stage 2. The opening will be live-streamed on Facebook.

We'll also be live-streaming on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.

re:publica takes place at STATION Berlin, Luckenwalder Straße 4-6; close to the subway station Gleisdreieck. You can reach this area with U2 line or take the S1 / S2 / S25 lines to S-Bahn station Anhalter Bahnhof. Important information: The U1 will not run during #rp18

Of course you can also easily cycle to STATION Berlin. Unfortunately, there are no bicycle parking allocations at the venue. Therefore, we would like to ask you to leave your bikes at the public bicycle parking spots. Please do not lock your bikes on the street or on access roads!

The pre:publica is here for everyone who doesn’t want to settle for just the three days of re:publica. On Tuesday, May 1st, you will already be able to register and pick up your #rp18 badges between 4 pm and 9 pm, and #PoP into re:publica for some nice drinks and refreshments.

Is it your first re:publica? Excited and curious, who else is coming? We want you to feel welcome, so we would like to invite you to join our ‘Newbies Meetup’. We will meet at 6pm at the suitcase wardrobe.

Here you can download our map and the program as a PDF. During re:publica, the printed program flyer would be available at the registration counters and the info point.

In addition, three apps are waiting for you in the App Store: Our program apps as well as the brand new re:al life app for your very own #rp18-photos and videos!

Make sure to get to your favourite sessions,10-15 minutes earlier. Seats are limited and on the basis of first come, first served. Please do not bring food or drinks! In addition to our restaurant in the main hall, we have many food trucks and bars with various selection to pick.

We do not allow dangerous objects such as weapons, ammunition and pyrotechnic products in the venue. Also, no glass bottles or bottles over 1lL are allowed in the premises.

For those of you who couldn’t get enough after three days of re:publica: Join us for ‘Netzfest’ - the first digital community festival - on May 5th at ‘Park am Gleisdreieck’. An Outdoor venue; Free of charge.

Unfortunately, no dogs are allowed on the whole venue.

On today's opening day of re:publica 2018 there will be no tickets at the ticket counter.
