Valerie Khan

Valerie Khan is an independent consultant based in London, UK, with a focus on digital identity in general and particularly on how this can improve the delivery of aid to and within less developed regions. The approach is based on strengthening local capacities, including policies, regulations, skills, ICT level, geographic constraints, third parties, financial capabilities etc.

She is currently consulting the World Bank Identity for Development (ID4D) team and has been advising the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) on their identity agenda. In addition, she is a guest lecturer for the 2018 UCL Blockchain Executive Education Programme on Blockchain for Identity.

Prior, Valerie finished a European management programme for high potentials with GE, followed by ten years in the banking sector being responsible for teams and programmes across Europe and Russia.
