Sweta Banerjee is currently working as the Nutrition specialist for Welthungerhilfe’s Country program in India. She is based in Kolkata and provides support to the Sustainable Food & Nutrition Security projects spread out across India. She also provides need based capacity building support to the Welthungerhilfe Nepal and Bangladesh projects. Sweta is one of the facilitators for the “Civil Society Academy” a Welthungerhilfe supported platform for capacity building and knowledge sharing for development practitioners across South Asia and Africa.

Sweta has done her masters in Dietetics and Public Health Nutrition. She also has a PG Diploma on ‘Public Health Nutrition’ from the Public Health Foundation of India’. She is working in the Public health nutrition sector for the last 20 years and has extensive experience of working in the community.

Sweta is a team member “Child Growth Monitor” Innovation.
