Mickey is Autodesk’s Education Experience’s (AEX) visiting fellow. In this role, his mission is to help the AEX team and its partners prepare for the future of learning by pulling the newest research from the labs into efforts to build best practices into Autodesk’s offerings. 

In addition to his role at Autodesk, Mickey is a senior advisor at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), one of the top three strategic consultancies in the world. Prior to working at BCG, Mickey was the President/CEO and later Chairman of MAYA Design, a design consultancy and research lab that spun out of Carnegie Mellon University. He holds 10 patents in the areas of connected products, vehicles, and services.

He is also co-author of Trillions: Thriving in the Emerging Information Ecology which in 2013 was awarded the Axiom Gold Award for best business book about technology and the Carnegie Science Award in the Science Communicator category.
