I'm a second year PhD student studying computing science at Glasgow University, focusing on how we can construct models of systems even as they grow intractably complex in all sorts of ways — but this is my day job! Outside of my research, I'm emphatic about the shadowy realm that is the intersection of science / technology and arts / humanities, and I'm absolutely riveted by the potential in using tech to improve people's lives, and by using tech to explore what it means to experience humanity.
