We Makes Waves joins forces with other music activists to discuss the pros and sometimes cons of the digital safer spaces and creating IRL events in which to promote and empower each other in the spaces in-between. With the hope of inclusion in IRL, is it possible that the spaces we create digitally become overly complicated because of individual wishes and frameworks that we make up in order to create and bring it out in the event?

A short presentation of We Makes Waves and look into what the 2018 holds in store for the panelists and their projects.
We will take the platform of re:publica to look at the interrelations and conjunctions between digital spaces such female:pressure, MeetUP, or Sisters. In this case dealing with feminism and its wide spectrum and gender issues and IRL events such as WMW, Heroines of Sound, etc and how they reinforce each other or how they may also interfere in connecting outside of the various bubbles and genres. We look forward to starting a discussion with you that we hope to follow up at our individual events. Lets make waves together!
