Program Manager at Google Arts & Culture, Chance coordinates cultural heritage preservation efforts through partnerships which employ emerging technology for cultural heritage documentation, education, and broad dissemination. Prior to joining Google, Chance participated in archaeological research and cultural heritage documentation projects throughout Europe and the Americas. He is also the co-founder of Rekrei, a volunteer, crowdsourcing project for destroyed heritage. He was previously a Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellow at the Institute for Photogrammetry, University of Stuttgart in Germany.
