Originally from the UK, Elie Gregory (b.1985) is a Berlin-based composer, producer and electro-pop artist. Their work spans from glitchy, abstract, multichannel electroacoustic experimental pieces, live electronics and audio-reactive visuals to the electro basslines and synthpop melodies of the solo project Strip Down. Gregory studied Composition at Birmingham Conservatoire and graduated in 2017 from the “Hanns Eisler” Hochschule für Musik in Berlin with a masters in 'Electroakustische Musik' (electroacoustic music). Having an interest in inclusive education, Elie Gregory runs electronic composition workshops for young people and also has an active role in the Berlin feminist music scene, and helped to organise the monthly discussion and performance space 'Meetup - Berlin'.
