Julia is a freelance journalist based in Hamburg. She publishes in newspapers, magazines, online and radio. She also works as an editor for bento, a news-website for a younger audience by Spiegel Online. Julia was trained at the Georg von Holtzbrinck-School for economic journalism. The Robert Bosch Foundation send her to India as part of their "Media Ambassador"-Programme. 2017 she was assigned "Special Interest Journalist of the year" and received a research grant by the European Journalism Centre. Her reporting focuses on economic and social topics, including digitalization and women rights. She frequently reports from India.
