Economist, entrepreneur, optimist...founder of The Office, Impact Hub Kigali, and the Innovation for Policy Foundation.

Jon Stever is leading on the development of new platforms and deliberative and participatory methodologies to engage communities in national and regional public policy co-creation. Jon facilitated the co-creation of the i4Policy Africa Innovation Policy Manifesto, and is the Managing Director of the Innovation for Policy Foundation. He is also the co-Founder and Managing Director of Impact Hub Kigali, a community innovation hub in Rwanda. 

Jon began his career in the development non-governmental organization sector supporting the Multilateral Debt Relief Initiative and then as an ODI Fellow and Macroeconomist for the Rwandan Ministry of Finance. He combines the experience of working for governments, the private sector, civil society, and international organizations with being an artist, community builder, entrepreneur and trainer in the innovation ecosystem. Jon serves in a number of advisory roles, such as on the African Union Commission and European Commission's Digital Economy Task Force.
